Nowadays, Smart TVs and Smart TV sticks have gained significant popularity. These innovative devices utilize an operating system similar to smartphones, enabling them to support various applications and even have their own app store.

Youtube is an essential application for your television, however, it must be activated before it can be used.

Activating Youtube 

Roku

To enable the Youtube application on your Roku TV or TV+, you can follow the steps provided below:

  • Verify if your Roku device has been activated, is successfully linked to a WiFi network, and is connected to the internet.
  • Go to channel store from the homescreen
  • Add the youtube channel
  • Once you have added the channel, you can navigate to the homescreen and choose it.
  • You should now proceed to the application settings and log into your google account.

  • Open the youtube app
  • Click on sign in button
  • Copy the code and note it down.
  • Please access the provided link and paste it into the browser of your computer or phone while logged into your Google account.
  • Your Xbox is now ready to use YouTube.

 

PlayStation

While the activation process is not as simple as activating an Xbox, it does require a longer duration and more effort.

Requirements: To use this service, it is essential to have an internet connection and also ensure the controller is connected.

  • You can acquire the YouTube application by accessing the PlayStation store, subsequently launching it.
  • Click on sign in option.
  • Following that, a code will be displayed on your monitor.
  • Please duplicate the code and launch your browser on either your mobile device or computer.
  • Open this link and paste the code there.
  • Make sure to enable the YouTube app on your PlayStation.

 

Other Smart TVs

Typically, other television operating systems are derived from various versions of android, making them quite comparable to the aforementioned ones. Simply visit the app store, download the Youtube application, and proceed to sign in and link your google account. Once added, enter the code shown here. Following these steps should likely suffice.
